Logistics Training Needs Assessment and Programme Development

Working with IDOM Consulting, we carried out a training needs assessment across the logistics profession in the MEDA region  as part of the EIB funded LogisMed programme. The diagnosis work included a structured assessment of logistics jobs and occupational taxonomy, the definition of logistics skills and competencies required for each group of jobs and occupations, the mapping of logistics training and education available in the Meda region, and the identification of training and systems gaps. The training plan and implementation work included the development of a detailed action plan, curricula modules descriptions and Learning Outcomes, and a pilot training delivery programme in association with the European Logistics Association (ELA) and MedLog Training Centre.
